Finally a finished object. This sweater was finished a little while ago and has had frequent wearing already. I love the warm cosy feel of this knit and it keeps the chill off in those early spring days of Minnesota.
I used about 11 skeins of Lambs Pride Bulky yarn in Silver Grey. The pattern is from Rebecca Magazine number 30 I believe. Easy pattern to memorize and great result. I think I would plan more button holes for another one as there is one button at the throat of the sweater. It would be nice to be able to close it up a little more but all in all it is a great sweater.

Watched the chickens in their new run.
Played with the poor neglected cat.
Admired spring.
And raked weeds out of the new raised bed gardens.
I love Spring.

I love the sweater you made! I have been wanting to knit for myself and have never done it but I wuold like to make a nice warm sweater for myself. Yours is a really cute pattern! I did start a pair of socks for me but so far only ONE is done, someday I will get the 2nd one done.

The sweater is great! We played bocce last night too. Can't wait to see the new garden's in person.
First of all, the sweater is gorgeous! I love how long it is! It looks so warm. I have a cheap black long sweater that I wear just about every day. I really ought to think about doing something like yours.
Second . . . CHICKENS!??!?! I've always wanted chickens! More pictures - who takes care of them if you're out of town? Do you get eggs yet? How long have you had them?
And I'm totally diggin' (get it) those raised beds. I have a mediocre veggie garden, but I've always wondered if raised beds would be better.
That sweater is gorgeous! What's the name of the pattern? It looks so much like the Forest Canopy Shawl pattern that I'm using for the yarn that I bought from you! Lovely, just lovely. :)
