Poncho Villa

These pictures were taken on the dash of my van yesterday in the Twin Cities. Note the snow through the windsheild, in April!! I'm working on a poncho for my daughter Monica using a Lopi pattern with an acrylic yarn by Bernat. Yeah it's not wool or any other kind of nice fun material, but I want her to wear it. She is a bit picky about how clothes feel (small understatement). I like the fun bright colors in this project. Hoepfully she likes it when its done.

Pretty Senja! I wish I had more time to knit--unfortunately I end up getting sucked into cross-stitch patterns for my new neices and nephews as they arrive. Maybe someday I'll ditch the cross stitch and start doing a knitted gift for the newborns! Cool blog!

I also love those colors.....but what is a Lopi pattern? You need to stop using the knitting jargon and explain it in English!! ha ha J/K!! Anyway I thought that you should know that the proximal phalanx of my great toe is in pain right now. ha ha Just thought I would throw in a some medical jargon to mix it up a little!! ha ha! Just trying to keep it fresh! Again, love the Blog! April
